McLaughlin-Levrone & Mondo Duplantis won World Athlete of the Year 2022 awards
The World Athlete of the Year honours went to Swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis and American world champion hurdler Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
World Athlete of the year awards:
World champion American hurdler Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis won the World Athlete of the year awards. McLaughlin-Levrone broke the world women’s 400m hurdles record twice while Duplantis set three new world highs this year. US-born Swede Duplantis claimed the award for the second time in three years with three world records in 2022 plus the men’s world indoor title in March and the world outdoor gold in July.
World Athletics also named Adriana Vilagoš of Serbia and American Erriyon Knighton their Rising Star of the Year winners. In 2022, Vilagoš recorded 15 top three finishes in 16 javelin competitions. She won silver at the multi-sport European Championships in Munich, and gold medals at the Mediterrean Games and World U20 Championships.

J&K Awarded 1st Prize in Category For Ayushman Bharat Health Account ID Generation
In the categories of Ayushman Bharat health account ID generation and Teleconsultation, Jammu and Kashmir won first place and second place, respectively.
Jammu & Kashmir won first place in the category for creating Ayushman Bharat health account IDs and second place in the category for conducting teleconsultations in honour of Universal Health Coverage Day in 2022.

Veena Nair won Prime Minister`s prize in Australia
The 2022 Prime Minister`s Prize for Excellence in Science Teaching in Secondary Schools has been awarded to an Australian teacher of Indian descent.
Melbourne-based Veena Nair, who is ViewBank College’s Head of Technology and STEAM project leader, has been awarded for demonstrating practical application of STEAM to students, and how they can use their skills to make a real impact in the world.
